To narrow your search, try entering two or more words – the search mechanism will look for those words in the same order. Artists’ names are usally listed with surname first e.g. Feidman Giora but do try to enter just one word for name and try different spellings.

The composer, conductor, writer, and teacher Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) was one of 20th-century America's most important musical figures. The Leonard Bernstein Collection is one of the largest and most varied of the many special collections held by the Library of Congress Music Division. Its more than 400,000 items, including music and literary manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, audio and video recordings, fan mail, and other types of materials extensively document Bernstein's extraordinary life and career. Library of Congress. Selected Jewish music collections Aaron Copland Collection
The inaugural online presentation of the Aaron Copland Collection at the Library of Congress celebrates the centennial of the birth of the American composer Aaron Copland (1900-1990). The multiformat Aaron Copland Collection from which the online collection derives spans the years 1910 to 1990 and includes approximately 400,000 items documenting the multifaceted life of an extraordinary person who was composer, performer, teacher, writer, conductor, commentator, and administrator. It comprises both manuscript and printed music, personal and business correspondence, diaries, writings, scrapbooks, programs, newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, awards, books, sound recordings, and motion pictures.
The first release of the online collection contains approximately 1,000 items that yield a total of about 5,000 images. These items date from 1899 to 1981, with most from the 1920s through the 1950s, and were selected from Copland's music sketches, correspondence, writings, and photographs.

YIVO has the foremost collection of books and documents written in Yiddish. The Archives and Library's holdings, however, also include many works in English, French, German, Hebrew, Ladino, Polish, and Russian.
Among the many visitors to the Archives and Library are scholars, students, amateur genealogists, museum curators, writers, filmmakers, artists, performers, historians, and family history researchers.
