JEWISH MUSIC INSTITUTE music publications (JMImp) |
|
The aim of the music publications is to make accessible to a wide public via the internet, works by contemporary composers (some hitherto unpublished) that express Jewish themes, have Jewish connections, or have been written for a Jewish purpose.
Our site provides access – sometimes for the first time - to the quite vast array of material for choirs, singers, schools, synagogues, chamber ensembles, instrumentalists and others seeking Jewish related works.
You can read biographies of the composers, descriptions of the works and their provenance, view the first page/s of the score in order to get a feel of what it is like, and in some cases access a short MP3 sample of the work.
