The first screening of the film took place at Magdalen Collage, Oxford on a Summer’s evening in July 1999. The events of Yonia’s life unfold through the passion of his paintings and it is these arresting canvasses that inspired Gregori Schechter’s unique score. Although both Yonia Fain and gregori Schechter were born in Russia, Yonia has made his home in New York and Gregori in London. |
